Rising 19,340 ft high, snow capped and
wreathed in veils of clouds, stands Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest
mountain in Africa and one of the largest free standing
mountains in the world. Our ascent of Kilimanjaro can be
considered a trek since the terrain, while steep at times, is
covered in trail all the way to the summit. Participants can
leave their ice axe and crampons at home- the only ice you will
see is the bizarre ice cap that rises abruptly out of the
moonscape surrounding the Crater Camp. Accessible to beginning
trekker/climbers, Kilimanjaro is a must, taking you through the
mists of equatorial jungle to reach the snows and breath-taking
views from the summit. If you are on your own, or with just one
other person, we will try, as far as possible, to fit you in
with another group following the same program as yours. It is
however possible, on request, to have your own private trip.
Most fit individuals with some mountain walking experience can
make it to the top of Africa. You do not need to be super fit -
just take it slowly (pole-pole the guide will say) and be
determined. Dynamic Motors & Safaris Ltd is one of the top
Kilimanjaro operators with an excellent reputation and a very
high success rate. Please do choose the route from the link
above.

Climbing Kilimanjaro is on many people’s list
of lifetime achievements and around 22,000 climbers set out each
year to conquer it, making it the most climbed mountain in the
world. Few things can compete with standing at the top of
Kilimanjaro and gazing at the African continent. At the summit,
exhaustion fades away; as the sun rises above Kilimanjaro crater
rim you know you have finally met this exhilarating African
challenge. The Mountain can be climbed at any time of the year,
but the rainy seasons (April-June; November-December) make the
forest more slippery and the summit might be blocked by snow. Be
prepared for climatic extremes, from rain in the forest, intense
sun in the alpine desert and freezing temperatures at the
summit. It’s essential to have warm clothes and a good sleeping
bag.
Our mountain treks and safaris are for the
adventure travelers who expect good quality service at a fair
price. The climb does require neither technical skills nor
climbing experience, anybody in a good health and in a good
physical shape can climb. We will be more that happy should we
ascend you to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, the roof top of
Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world.
Apart from Kilimanjaro Tanzania has many other great mountains
including the second highest mountain in Tanzania Mount Meru and
Oldonyo Lengai mountains.
